Join the City of Lakewood’s Volunteer Day

The city of Lakewood has an active and caring community as evidenced by its upcoming volunteer day. Every year city residents come together and volunteer to work on special projects within the community. Typically, more than 500 volunteer show up to help neighbors in need with yard clean up duties, to help move large objects and just about anything else that the city might need.

This year’s volunteer day will take place in April and senior residents or anyone with “limited means or disability can offer up a special project”. If you, or someone you know, can benefit from a Volunteer Day cleanup project and meet the selection criteria, please visit www.lakewoodcity.org/volunteerdaysite to submit an application online.
